Help Us out.

If anyone is reading this and can provide us with copies of the annual statements of Rochester Community Baseball or the Greater Rochester Sports Authority, please post a comment or shoot an email to firebobmatthews@gmail.com.

Alternatively, if you are familiar with Freedom of Information requests in NY, that'd be great too.

Liz suggests trying a Lexis Nexis search. Especially if you have free access because you work at a school/hospital thingy. That's for the public filings, that is. As for FOIA requests... I'll see what I can find out...

You may have some luck if you access Factiva, Lexis Nexus, EDGARSCAN or a few others through a school libray's account - so try searching for them either just in the library itself or through a school's portal. I know our alumni access no longer extends to cover those subscriptions, which bothers me when things like this pop up. Anyway, I also believe that you should be able to request the reports through the companys' main offices, although you may know better than I. A few interesting links:

I had another but blogger forced me to register and lost my last message. Couldn't have been that interesting.

Also, Rochester Community Baseball's Cusip is 771698107 and it's ticker is RCCB, sometimes listed as RCCBE

Believe it or not, I started writing that comment long before wd to . . . had even posted for the evening. So, um, yeah.

Sorry - one more - both the Greater Rochetser Sports Authority, as a public authority, and Rochester Community Basbeall, as a publicly held corporation, are subject to the Freedom of Information Act and thus required to provide you with their annual reports if you request them. They can charge you no more than 25 cents per page if they photocopy them, and only the reproduction costs if they provide you with them in any other way. They are allowed to withhold information that is deemed to be harmful to a protected interest, but they must indicate the extent to which information has been witheld and must explain in writing the reasons for which the information was withheld.
